FIRST RESPONDERS
The First Responder is precisely as it sounds….the FIRST to respond to a potentially life-threatening event. Despite their incredible importance, first responders like Law Enforcement, EMS, and Fire services are strained financially. One of the first cuts to be made under a tight budget is training. HeroWorks uses funds from our partners and sponsors to ensure that local, city, and county agencies get the effective and practical training they need to provide the life-saving service that our public requires. HOUSES OF WORSHIP
Houses of worship are a haven for the majority of Americans today. ALL faiths should have the right to practice their beliefs in solitude and safety. Unfortunately, this is becoming increasingly more difficult every day. Extremist groups have begun targeting religious groups and their believers. 1 in 4 members report being attacked or threatened, and more than half say they are in fear of practicing their belief. This is Evil. HeroWorks provides its services to ALL faiths to empower individuals and organizations to employ our training to better protect them during services, and beyond. SCHOOLS
Nothing is more important than a child being protected. When our children go off to school, they are supposed to spend their day with their friends, learning, laughing, and growing. They are not supposed to focus on the potential for harm. Neither should we as parents! That is why HeroWorks provides active threat, Stop the Bleed, and situational awareness training for schools across America. Shootings have become a hot-button issue in the US. We may not be able to eliminate all weapons on campus. What we can do, is provide the proper training and mindset to allow Faculty, educators, children, and parents to feel at ease knowing that if something did happen…we would all be better equipped to protect ourselves. COMMUNITY CENTERS
The Community Center is the bedrock of vitality in our great country. Libraries, shopping centers, commerce, places of business, and parks to name a few. These environments are the life blood of the human experience. They are also a hotbed of violence and anger. The larger the group, the more damage. The less trained, the easier to target. HeroWorks has engineered programs specifically for these sanctuaries. This is the true place of empowerment. It is where everyday citizens can learn the basic skills to “fight back” against those that would do them unjust harm. Join the movement and help protect your community.
VETERANS
At our core, we are a veteran-founded organization. We know the commitment, honor, sacrifice, and selflessness that have been forged into the identity of every veteran of the United States. We work to ensure that veterans and their families have opportunities within our ranks. We pledge to bring as many qualified veterans onto our team as possible. For those not qualified, we will train you! And to the Gold Star families, we work to provide scholarships to help you pursue careers in the medical industry.
